My mission

I try to help conserving the environment, its biodiversity and its habitats, of which human beings we are part and depend on. Capturing part of this in photos, and spreading them, I hope can contribute to this vital goal.

You will find worldwide biodiversity, with fauna and photos from 23 countries in 4 continents: Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, Ecuador (Galapagos Islands), Estonia, Finland, Gambia, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, Spain, South Africa, St. Lucia, Sweden, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan.

This portfolio aims to be a journey for you, a set of wildlife and nature stories with which you can almost travel to different parts of the world, get closer and see its wide and colorful biodiversity.

I have been to remote places to take these photographs, such as rainforests, deserts, snow-capped mountains, forests, wetlands, steppes, beaches, bushes, agricultural landscapes, parks, etc.

FIELD TRIPS & STORIES

Here I will post the best photographs of the lastest field trips I have made and I will be doing, telling you stories with them, which will be changing! Now, you have the ones I made during all the year 2025 and this year 2026.

Pigeon Island National Landmark (St. Lucia)

During my trip around the Caribbean islands, this was perhaps the country surprised me most pleasantly: Saint Lucia. An island with plenty of green spaces, where the beach meets the forest, teeming with tropical birds and plants. I took these photos in the Pigeon Island National Landmark and in the Castries harbour, particularly glad to see hummingbirds again, last February 2026.

El Yunque National Forest (Puerto Rico)

Puerto Rico, a country brimming with life and colours, where one natural site stands out above all others: El Yunque National Forest. It was there where I took these photos of local fauna, particularly remarking the large number of anoles I spotted, with greenish, yellowish and brownish colours that I really loved watching. Moreover, local & exotic flora, sometimes more striking with its iridescent blue colours, but invasive towards the island’s native flora, last February 2026.

Palencia & Valladolid (Spain)

The regions of Tierra de Campos and Campiña del Pisuerga in Castile and León (Spain) are areas sometimes underappreciated, yet they can be truly beautiful and boast a wealth of biodiversity. I particularly love its orange sunsets. In the lower-lying parts of the provinces of Palencia and Valladolid, I would personally highlight a few natural areas where I took these photos: the Special Protection Area for Birds La Nava-Campos Norte, the Canal de Castilla Wetland and the Campogrande Park, last August and November 2025 and last January 2026.
